Interlude Hypnotherapy
Published: August, 2024
With over 25 years of experience in holistic wellness, I specialise in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, combining Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, alongside complementary holistic practices.
I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), an accredited register of therapists recognized by the Professional Standards Authority, and approved for referral from both GPs and Healthcare Professionals.
Why Consider Hypnotherapy for Your Patients?
Hypnotherapy offers a supportive approach to a range of patient concerns, including:
- Stress and Anxiety Management: Effective in alleviating anxiety and stress through relaxation and cognitive techniques.
- Sleep Disorders: Helps improve sleep quality and manage insomnia through tailored hypnotherapy interventions.
- Chronic Pain and Trauma: Supports patients in managing chronic pain and facilitating trauma recovery by addressing underlying psychological aspects.
- IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome): Assists in managing IBS symptoms by addressing stress and psychological factors that may exacerbate gastrointestinal issues.
- Behavioural Change and Weight Management: Aids in overcoming habits, phobias, and addictions, and supports weight management with behavioural and cognitive strategies.
- Performance Enhancement: Enhances focus and performance in various life areas, including academic and professional settings.
- Holistic Mental Health Support: Contributes to improved emotional regulation and self-esteem, supporting overall mental wellbeing.
Client-Centred Approach with Assessment
Whilst I do not diagnose conditions, I do utilise a range of assessment tools to understand each client’s unique needs and tailor the hypnotherapy sessions accordingly. These assessments help ensure that treatment plans are customised to align with your patients’ specific goals and expected outcomes, enhancing the effectiveness of the therapy.
Communication with GPs and Healthcare Professionals
With your patients’ consent, I will write to you to keep you informed at the start of the treatment. This letter will outline the goals of the hypnotherapy, the nature of the treatment, and how it aligns with the patient’s overall care plan. Additionally, a Treatment Review Letter will be provided to update you on the client outcomes, progress, and any significant changes throughout the therapy. This collaborative approach ensures you are well-informed and able to integrate hypnotherapy effectively into your patients’ care plans.
Referral Process
Referring your patients for hypnotherapy is simple. I am committed to clear communication and will provide regular updates on your patients’ progress to support integrated care. For further information or to discuss a referral, please contact me directly.
